“Every 40 seconds” a person commits suicide (Denton et al.). With the number people who feel they have no alternative to taking their own life, solutions must be found. In tackling this serious issue, Chloe Denton, Alesha Johnson, and X’Zavyon Johnson created an infographic titled ‘Suicide’. The infographic gives statistics on suicide, includes a personal story, and compares societal perception to reality. Color scheme and pictures, along with the aforementioned information, creates the argument that suicide is misunderstood by society and people need to not only realize the problem, but discover a way to help prevent it.
