In Twelve Angry Men, by Reginald Rose, a young man was put on trial for supposedly stabbing his father, and a group of twelve jurors were selected to dive deeper into the case and come up with a verdict. Before any ideas of doubt came up, most of the group believed the boy was guilty and it was almost impossible for them to come to a unanimous decision.
