People before use alcoholic beverages such as whiskey, rum, etc. People rather drink alcoholic beverages because It is clean and fermented, unlike water is dirty and dangerous to drink. However, Alcohol had a bad effect too in our society, Alcohol makes people violent and aggressive and It can harm people too. When the government saw this issue, they ratify 18th Amendment on January 16, 1919. The 18th Amendment is about Prohibition. Prohibition is a ban of selling, produce and transport alcohol. After 10 years, The government canceled Prohibition. Many people wondered why America decided to end Prohibition?. America changed its mind and repealed Prohibition for three reasons, Crime, Law Enforcement and Taxes.
