After careful consideration, I would have to say that Panda Express is currently my favorite fast food restaurant. It is first on my list for two reasons. For one, Panda Express is just delicious! The sheer amount of mouth-watering spices and flavor combinations is astounding. Also, the restaurant just seems to offer healthier choices than other fast food giants. For instance, I like that the company places a huge emphasis on cooking a lot of their items in wok pans. Using woks allows them to quickly steam, stir fry, and sauté their meats and veggies which aids in preserving nutrients and limiting the amount of unnecessary fat in their dishes.
With that said, in my opinion, the best 3 item meal that one can get from Panda ,from a caloric standpoint, would have to be the Broccoli Beef(entrée), Mixed Vegetables (Side), and any of the teas, Sobe beverages, or Diet Pepsi …show more content…
I would say that the best full course meal would consist of, as the entrée, either the 6 oz Sirloin with Grilled Avocado (420 calories) or the Spicy Chile Chicken (420 calories) which are both off of the restaurant’s “Lighter Choices” menu. Both items have the lowest amount of calories on the menu. As for the side item, the Steamed Broccoli at 40 calories has a low number of calories. This number is actually quite lower than the restaurant’s house or fresco salads which each boast an also impressively low 80 and 70 calories, respectfully. As for the least energy dense drink to go along with this meal, Coke Zero, Diet Coke, and water all have zero calories. But if one wanted to avoid drinking soda or plain water, the restaurant’s Arnold Palmer only has about 60
