I have been involved in 4-H since I was in fourth grade. By being involved in this program, it has taught me to be more responsible, respectful, and how to help and be a leader. I have shown different breeds of animals through 4-H since I joined. By showing animals, I have especially learned responsibility. Animals have to be cared for every day by being: fed, watered, brushed, exercised and trained. Each animal needs a different level of care. So far through my years of showing I have cared for a dog, rabbit, horse and sheep. 4-H is not just for showing animals, it also is away to give back to the community.
