For example a male squid first has to attract a women and does this by swimming early in the morning and swim rapidly while forming large circles. Female squids then join to swim in the circle while the colors of a male squid change to attract the female , then mating takes place. There is a ink sac which is hidden under a set of glands and works as a shell for the eggs. In males , they have a shorter arm and this is how he places the sperm into the female squid. Thousands of eggs can be reproduced in a short amount of time up to 70,000. However, there is not enough research to know how the eggs are developed inside of a squid. When it comes to the time to distribute the eggs , she finds areas such as under the rocks so they will be safe . However, when disposing the eggs , it still takes about 8 weeks to be hatched .
