Dear Mr James Chalmers, I am writing this letter to express my utter most support for your response. I am a hard working man who am just trying to support my family. My life until now has generally been very good. However, my family and I have been hurt the most by the event of which you speak of; the amount of tea which has been dumped in to the Boston Harbor was huge and such a waste of money. Ever since this event, my family and I have been under constant attack. The patriots have attacked and destroyed the homes of those loyal to the king by throwing bricks at windows and barging through doors. I am outraged; I have lost so much money because the entire shipment of tea has been destroyed during this horrific and barbaric event. How am I supposed to feed my family? Who will pay this money back to me? This is just so unfair.

American patriots have been causing problems ever since the British rightfully taxed the colonists on luxury items. It is time that we put an end to these disobedient mobs and act like proper gentlemen! No one should question the acts of Great Britain and we should thank them for what we have. As Englishmen, we must obey the laws of Parliament. There are rules set in place for us to follow and the Patriots are acting like spoiled and rebellious little children by refusing to follow the rules.

It is time to face this; surely something needs to be done about it. In my opinion, in the event that such horrid acts of harassment should continue, the British Parliament should tax even more products to make them learn from their past mistakes and pay for what they have done. This land in which we live in belongs to the British. I am willing to fight for
