As you gather with your family and friends think about, what if someone in your family was never born. How would that change the dynamic of your family, would your family be more serious, funnier, or as close. Or even think of a friend that is near and dear to you, what would it be like if they were never born. Abortion is not a friendly topic to talk about because a lot of us could never imagine our lives without those special people in them. But what about those that do have abortions, what does God have to say about that?
In Jeremiah 1:5 it tells us that God knows us before He forms us in the womb. God has a specific plan for each and every one of you. Whether that is being a priest or a tax collector, God made you with a purpose. Think about a son or daughter that you have, before you even knew what gender they were going to be, God already knew exactly what they were going to look like. Men, you want your sons to take over for you, just think how God would knit that son in your wife’s womb. Along with Jeremiah 1:5, Psalm 139:13-16 also talks to us about how God has the active role in our creation and formation in the womb. This goes to show that God knows exactly what your child is suppose to be like. No childbirth is a surprise to God, he knew even before you were born what your own child would be like. The verse is not hard to understand if you read it, it clearly states that God formed your just the way your are. Another passage of scripture is Isaiah 49:1-3, is saying that he called us by name and expects us to glorify him in what we do. Do you want your children to have to opportunity to serve God like we are called to do? Your answer should be yes.
Now that we have looked at how important each child is to God and how he has a plan for everyone, we are going to look at how serious a child’s life is to Christ. It is explained in Exodus 21:22-25 it explains how if someone causes the death of a baby in the womb it is the same as if someone commits murder. As you know death is the last thing that God wants to have happen to us. The worse punishment that can happen is being killed, so why should a baby in side its mothers womb have to be killed. The child has done nothing wrong so there is no logical
