Abortion is one of the most heavily debated topics between politicians and citizens within our country. Basically, there are 2 sides to this controversial topic. First, you have the extremely conservative position on claiming that abortion is taking a life and that government officials should not have to fund something that a group of citizens do not believe in. Then, you have the liberal response of free-will. This belief of free-will supports women having abortions if they feel they are necessary. These 2 positions on the topic are totally opposite, which leaves little room to find a happy medium. Pregnancy is not always intentional, and it can allow a woman to dodge the bullet in a way. In my opinion, if a woman feels that she must give birth to a child, then the child will only live a life of neglect in a variety of different ways. First off, many people do not understand the financial responsibilities an individual must possess in order to birth and raise a child. If a woman is not financially prepared, this can be extremely stressful and neglectful to both the mother and child. This will more than likely lead to the need for government assistance, which is coming right out of taxpayers’ pockets. The definition of murder is ¨to take someone´s life away¨, and many people believe that abortion does exactly that. This act can be classified as an act of murder, which is certainly illegal in United States, but yet abortion is still available in select states. This infuriates the conservative class because they understand that even though the process doesn´t involve killing a human being, it still relates to killing a personhood. Conservatives believe this is enough to outlaw the process, while liberals tend to believe that a woman should have the choice in whether she wants to birth a child or
