Adulthood Impact
I believe receiving a college degree, showing I can pay for an apartment and settling down with one person in the future, such as marriage can show mature ways in growing up. Adulthood had a positive impact on my life because it proved to my family that I could accomplish any goal I set for myself. “Children aren’t dogs; adults aren’t gods.”-Haitian
First, receiving a college degree is a big impact in my life. Without a career to be able to support yourself, how can you be ready for the world? With having a degree from your field you’re going for theirs many opportunities in working life, especially for higher paid jobs. Having a higher paid job you want have to worry about financial problems or money. “We have not passed that subtle line between childhood and adulthood until…We have stopped saying “It got lost,” and say “I lost it.” –Sydney Harris
Second, Showing I can pay rent for an apartment was a great impact for me it shows how responsible I am with my money. I like to shop. Paying bills on time and on things that are more important than clothing are important. My mom always said, “When you move out, you can do whatever you want, but while you in my house, you have rules. I like to have my own rules so being on my own is a must and when I got to a certain age moving out shows responsible. “Adults are always asking little kids what they want to be when they grow up because they’re looking for idea.” -Paula Poundstone
Lastly, marriage is a future impact I want in my life. Marriages shows you’re done with the little boy games and on to a real man that you feel you can be committed too. Marriage comes with starting a family and
