Alexander the Great was an ancient Macedonian king and one of history’s greatest military minds and history has it that as a King of Macedonia and Persia he was able to establish the biggest empire the ancient world had ever known. Only very few people in world history have been as famous as Alexander. He was revered in the ancient Mediterranean and in the Middle Ages as not only a great ruler, but also a wise one, charismatic, brilliant, companion of both generals and philosophers. At the age of 16, he was already in charge of ruling Macedonia in his father’s absence and also able to raised an army and quelled the rebels attempted by Thracian.
