In any country, the government should be for the people. They have several duties and responsibilities to their citizens. The government should follow the laws set up for human rights and be for the freedom as well. This paper will discuss what laws and freedoms become compromised when a government decides to manipulate human rights for their own benefit. Not to mention the unethical behavior coming from the power they have.

The US government will be watching the internet and decide what pages viewed and what is inappropriate to them. With these policies, as well, citizens cannot speak negatively about the government or discriminate against it. Citizens private email accounts hacked or removed if considered offensive to the government. Nonetheless, censoring is unconstitutional and unethical, frankly, it should not practice anywhere in the world. These policies will affect the human rights of everyone. Not to mention breaking laws that protect privacy and freedom of speech and expression. Consequently, it will affect businesses that work or produce online services in a manner of bankruptcy. The market depends on fast reliable internet for the online businesses, for example, a lot of business use their mobile devices on hand to run their business. They use a smartphone, tablets, laptops, etc., if the connection to the internet are not what they use to be, they lose money. Furthermore, affecting the sales of the electronic mobile devices. Businesses will not be able to advertise their products freely and as a result, lose money if the government does not approve of the material displayed. Online schools will have limited educational resources, therefore, making it an ethical issue. Apart from the business losing money, citizens will pay taxes for these new internet policies. In addition to the taxes, there is a cost of labor, equipment, and maintenance needed to set and keep up with these filters up. (Poland,2009) Entrepreneurial opportunities would endure to having their ideas approved by an oversight committee or anything for that matter. Citizens will not be able to express their opinions without the fear of prosecution if the government feels compromised. These policies are
