They say the grass is greener on the other side. The other side of what? The last time I checked America has the greenest grass of ideas, support, courage. Luckily, I was fortunate enough to be born into America as a proud, patriotic citizen for this country that I love. My generation has its good times and it's bad times, but we are family. My generation is blessed with several gifts from the country that we live in.
America has given my family and I the freedom to love. Without this freedom, we would be separated and friendship would be hard to make. I’m lucky enough to have a place to call home, food on the table, my Lord and Savior to put my trust in, and a school to attend.

America is full of dreamers who strive to make our fantasies come alive, like movies, art, music, sports, and competitive academic activities. Everyone has freedom to go after their dreams to see what they want to future to be. Like Martin Luther King Jr. said “I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident; that all men are created equal."” He had a dream, and he succeeded and now we are the America today, joined in brotherhood. Most importantly, this could’ve not been possible without the men and women that are fighting to keep these wonderful gifts that America has given my generation. The Veterans who fought for this country are truly heroes that do not get enough credit for the amount of work they do, to give us these rights. My dad, grandfather, and great grandfather are veterans. My great grandfather served in the Navy during WWII, my grandfather served in the Army and Air Force Reserves. My dad just recently retired as a Master Sergeant in the Air Force Reserves. I accept the challenge to believe in my dreams and work for the USAF. I want to be able to help America have more gifts for the next generation that is soon to
