Why People Should Consider Adoption

Poverty destroys the lives of so many people in the world every day. It devastates people’s hope for a better future and crushes their dreams. Adoption helps create a solution to this worldwide crisis by rescuing orphaned children. Fulfilling God’s description of pure and faultless religion brings God great joy. This miracle of adoption can give orphans a new life, show God’s love, and greatly impact the adoptive family in a powerful and powerful way.

Statistics of the orphan crisis are staggering. Orphan Hope International places the number of orphans in the world between 143 million and 210 million. To put this number into perspective, as of 2014, the total population of the United States totals about 319 million people. In addition, Orphan Hope International says that each day 5,760 more children discover themselves orphaned. Based on this statistic, it would take only about four years for the entire population of New York to become orphans. Adoption helps reduce that huge number one child at a time.
