Threats are one part of The Appalachian Trail. There are rattlesnakes then can bite/give posin. There are also bares can take food or hurt someone. People can get depressed by being alone for too long. There are deer ticks during deer tick season that can give someone a disease. Someone can get hypothermia from being too cold up in the mountains. “Hypothermia is caused by cold temperatures, inadequate clothing and equipment, wetness, fatigue, exhaustion, and dehydration.” Trail names are another part of The Appalachian Trail.
