In a Democracy, there should be Personally Responsible Citizens because they act in a responsible way, They contribute to community efforts, and they try not to be a burden to the community. There should be at least 500 Personally Responsible Citizens because they support community efforts by either volunteering their time or donating money. There should be at least 300 Participatory Citizens in the lunar colony. Participatory Citizens are important because they volunteer to serve on community committees and organize community events. In Democracy B, it shows the perfect example of a Participatory Citizen Sue Brady. Sue is the perfect example of a Participatory Citizen because she spent 50-60 years of her life in community committees. In her 20’s and 30’s, she was the co-founder of the Christian family Movement and she was a board member for 10 years. In her 40’s and 50’s, she was elected Alderman for the city council and she was a committee member for 3 years. In her 60’s and 70’s, she was chairman of the local League of Women Voters and she was President of the Condominium Association. According to this evidence, I believe Participatory Citizens are important to our community because they volunteer for community committees and organize community
