Arma is one of the most well-loved tactical first-person shooters out there. Like most islands in the Mediterranean, Malden’s landscape and terrain varies. There are urban areas where you will be fighting in narrow alleys where the open streets are considered kill zones. In addition, there are wide-open plains where you’ll be vulnerable to sniper fire and hilly areas where being at an elevated area will give you a distinct advantage.

In Argo, there are several co-op and competitive PvP game modes. The latter includes “Clash”, where five-man units will fight over territory in a series of engagements, “Link” where you need to take control of certain areas around the map, and “Raid” where a unit seeks access to a data terminal while the opposing one will defend the three possible locations. If PvP isn’t your thing, you can form a 10-man team with other players to take up arms against AI opponents. The game has a 3D Scenario Editor where you can build and play your own missions.

Argo’s graphics resembles that of Arma 3, but it’s a bit of a downgrade. Nevertheless, the presentation aspects are slick and modern, and everything looks refined.
