"Just five more minutes!" every kid shouts to his mother! Well all parents have heard that saying, especially my parents. Sure I've said it before but in the long run I believe it's not the right thing. Some schools have been thinking of starting schools later. There's a problem though, there are actually multiple problems with that. Students would have less time in the afternoon to do homework, eat dinner and do after school activities. Also, changing the bus schedule would screw up the bus drivers day and the district would have to pay for more buses and bus drivers that fit their time slot. Managing all this stress and homework from school is a great skill to have later in life, later start times could ruin that opportunity.

Sometimes not everything goes your way and maybe you get more work, having this skill from school can help you get all your work done. Having these early start times will make kids wait until the early morning to do their homework. When they stay up all night partying thinking they will do their homework in the morning, they will be too tired to do the homework in the morning!
In general I believe that there shouldn't be later start times. The later start times will possibly cost more money, take away family dinner time, take away homework time, and take away after school activities. Sure a well rested student is a great one, but having later start times will just make kids stay up longer, making no big difference at all.Plus, later start times can get rid of a great opportunity.
