6:2-4 The priests transfer the ark.
6:6-10 During the ceremony for transferring the ark, it slips, Uzzah touches the ark. God kills him for his action.
6:11-17 David takes part in the transferring of the ark and celebrates the occasion.
7:2 David wants to build a new permanent house for the ark.
11:11 Uriah mentions the ark in his conversation with David.
15:24 Abiathar and Zadok take the ark out of the city during Absalom’s conspiracy against David his father.
15:25 David calls for the ark returned to Jerusalem.
15:29 They carry the Ark back to Jerusalem.

What I learned: Anointing in Samuel signified God putting His hand apon his chosen one. It signifies their importance just as Israel was the anointed and similarly when David was anointed. Equally we are God’s anointed people and thus he has his plan for us in …show more content…

What I learned: All things are possible with God on your side, as we saw in Samuel, while David was in God’s favor he won every battle that he fought. Just as Philippians 4:13 states we can do all things through Christ. God is in control of all and thus if we follow his commands we can always count on God’s blessing no matter how small or insignificant that blessing may seem to us at that time.

2:5 David sends messengers to the men of Jabesh-gilead.
3:12 Abner sends messengers to David.
3:14 David sends messengers to Ish-bosheth.
3:26 Joab sends messengers after Abner.
5:11 Hiram sends messengers to David.
