Arson is the criminal act of deliberately setting fire to property. Arsonists are some of the most stealthy and criminal individuals. One example of a famous arsonist is Raymond Lee Oyler. He is a 38 year old mechanic from Beaumont, California. Oyler was convicted of setting the 2006 Esperanza fire that killed five firefighters, in California. He was the first one ever that was committed of arson for setting a wildfire.
The first fire was started in Cabazon, California on October 26, 2006, and burned an estimated 40,200 acres before it was able to be slowed down. The fire itself was spread mostly by wind, but was started by Oyler. The results in this fire killed five firefighters, and destroyed 34 houses and 20 outbuildings, as well as
