The deal is excludes online prices and some categories of merchandise, groceries, live plants, tobacco, prescription drugs and wireless devices that require a service agreement. But this is a good thing if weeks pass between your purchase and spotting the better deal. It also applies to the big items like TVs, for the prices to drop steeply as Christmas approaches.
