The Articles of Confederation. This is the government that led us through the revolution that ultimately gave us our independence. Why should we alter it so drastically that it becomes an entirely different document? As a newly budding nation, we need consistency in our government. If anything, developing a new system of government would only cause chaos. A chaos this young nation cannot afford. This proposed constitution would not only cause chaos at home, but it would also disrupt our relationships abroad.
