Assignment 4.3 Some of the arguments that LaPierre uses for having armed guards in our schools is he argues that politicians passed the law to have gun-free school zones, which LaPierre is basically stating this gives those insane killers an easy target to enact violence and hurt on (Boss, 2015, p. 165). He argues how we protect our banks with armed guards, our airports, office buildings, courthouses, and even sport stadiums (Boss, 2015, p. 165). LaPierre even goes on to argue how our president is protected with armed secret service men and members of the congress (Boss, 2015, p. 165). He wants to know why when it come to the most innocent members of our families that society leaves them the most vulnerable and defenseless (Boss, 2015, p. 165). I agree and disagree with his approach because I think this all depends on the situation a person might be in if they have to protect themselves. If they have to use force I think that there are other ways to try and protect ourselves before resorting to a gun. However, again I want to state this all depends on the situation a person might be in. I am kind of on the rocks as to how LaPierre or Kelly might respond to Kloos’s thoughts. I feel that they would both kind of feel the same way that I do on his stance. I think that if a person is put in a situation of flight or fight yes by all means we should do whatever it is we have to in order to protect ourselves. I just feel that each situation is different and everyone has their own beliefs on how they might handle a situation like
