How to make bare bone computer
What is a bare bone computer? A bare bone computer is an unassembled kit of computer parts allowing people to customize as their needs and in most cases it is less expensive than a retail brand. To make bare bone computer, an individual has to determine what qualities and how much power do they prefer. Depending on the primary purpose of the computer, it can be build as gaming, multimedia, or productivity. Following are the steps that could be used to build a bare bone computer.

The vital module for a bare bones computer is the motherboard; the motherboard attaches directly to all other part of the computer. It is the "heart" of the computer. It handles the central processing unit and all system memory. It takes extension devices for example sound and network cards, and modems. Exclusive of the motherboard everything is unusable. Users have couple options to choose motherboard, AMD-based motherboards cost less then Intel-based motherboards. Users can choose AMD unless users are building computer that require more power (preferably for games).
Third step is deciding on memory. Users have to purchase correct type of memory card for their motherboard. As recommended at least 2 GB RAM for windows 7 and Windows 8. More memory will allow more programs to be run simultaneously without system slowdown.
Fourth step in building a bare bone computer is deciding on storage needed. Storage is used to connect and transfer data between a hard drive and the motherboard in a computer system.
