He then signed me up and when I showed up to the first practice I met my team and found out I was the only girl on the team. This was not a big problem, but I felt out of place. As we started to practice a lot more, I started to realize that my teammates were a lot better than me and I felt really intimidated, but I had tried my best to not let it get to me. I remember when we had our first game I was so nervous I started sweating like a lot and I couldn’t seem to get it together and a little after my coach noticed and told me to calm down and try to the best of my ability. As I got into the batting position, everything in my head went blank and I could not think or speak. I literally froze into shock, and it was not until the pitcher yelled at me to pay attention. I then snapped back into reality and took a deep breath. As the pitcher threw the ball, I was so excited because I thought that I would hit the ball but I missed. That day, my team lost the game because of me. Luckily I had a wonderful coach and team that supported me and cheered me up and had amazing teammates to help me practice at every practice we
