As the Younger family decided, they moved to Clybourne park. The first months were not very easy for the family, actually they faced a lot of hate from their neighbors, and they were struggling each day more to pay for the house. However, a year later someone knocked on their door and little did they know this was going to change their lives. Beneatha opened the door and encountered James Farwell, a handsome white young man from the neighborhood. Beneatha got very nervous and even when she didn’t know who this random man was, she just welcomed him in the house very kindly. As soon as he left the house Mama went to the garden to see what was happening because Beneatha never went back to the living room. As soon as she stepped on the garden she saw Travis’ leg bleeding a little and immediately ran to see what the severity of the matter was. Bennie, who had been studying medicine for a year, told Mama that everything was okay and there was nothing to worry about. Then, the three of them went to the kitchen to prepare dinner. About ten minutes after, Amelia’s cry was so loud that the three of them heard it. This time Mama also went to see what had happened. As she entered to the room she was relieved. Mama noticed that Amelia, her youngest granddaughter, was only crying because she had just woken up, not because she was hurt. Mama hugged her and after singing two songs, Amelia was sleeping again. Mama went to the kitchen again and realized that Walter and Ruth had just arrived. While they were eating, Mama told everyone that they were invited to eat at the Farwell’s the next day. For Walter it was a weird invitation, but he was glad that people from the neighborhood were wanting to spend time with
