People’s palms are sweating, legs are bouncing and hearts are beating so quickly that they can hear their heart beat while watching TV. They are praying whomever they voted for will win. However, the host is taking his/her time in telling the audience who the winner is, which leads to them cursing at the TV and screaming “come on, get over with it”. The host gives the viewers a big smile and says the next sentence in very slow motion, “and the next president of United States is….”

Every 4 years around 3rd of November American sit in front of their TV to know who is their new president. This year’s election so far was eventful. We have a lot of people who running for president. For example people who don’t know anything about politics like

One of the good people is a democratic presidential candidate who is loved by the Americans is Bernie Sanders. People like him because he cares about everyone, from white to black, from children to elders and a believer in women rights.

Bernie Sanders is running for the US’ presidential seat in 2016. Unlike the majority of the other presidential candidates, his funding comes from individual donations. He was able to raise over $1.5 million in the first 24 hours after he has announced his presidential campaign. Sanders was able to raise a great amount of money that none of the republican candidates were able to. Nevertheless, who is Bernie Sanders really is and what does he want to do for the Americans?

Bernard “Bernie” Sanders was born in Brooklyn, New York to his parents Eli and Dorothy Sanders. His father Eli emigrated from Poland to the United States at the age of twelve. In addition, after Sanders finished from high school, he studied a year in Brooklyn College and then transferred to University of Chicago. Since a young age Sanders showed his care and interest in equality between black and white people. That shows by how he used to hold a multi-week sit down, which was held outside the campus and he talked about
