Blue Zones is a concept used to identify a demographic and/or geographic area of the world where people live measurably longer lives. There are about __ blue zone in the world and the people who live within these areas live to be over 100+ years by themselves. When I say by themselves I mean they don't have machines helping them breath or doctors coming in to check on them. These are everyday people living there lives and might have found a way to help everyone else live there lives longer. People have went and studied these areas and have come back with ways they might have help them stay alive longer. The 20% gap between not being hungry and feeling full could be the difference between losing weight or gaining it. People in the Blue Zones eat their smallest meal in the late afternoon or early evening and then they don’t eat any more the rest of the day. Serving sizes are 3-4 oz., about the size of deck or cards. Also another trick they do is they eat on smaller plates. Another thing is they don't eat family style where you can just keep eating. Some of them serve at the counter then put the food away.

Having wine at five. People in all Blue Zones (except Adventists) drink alcohol moderately and regularly. Moderate drinkers outlive non-drinkers. The trick is to drink 1-2 glasses per day, with friends and/or with food. The wine preferably Sardinian Cannonau wine which has three times the level of polyphenols more than regular wine. The polyphenols is prevention of degenerative diseases such as cancer and cardiovascular diseases.
