The border wall in between the U.S and Mexico has been a hot topic for politicians ever since President Trump brought it up. It can be argued that wall would be way too expensive, and that illegal immigrants would just take harder routes to attempt to get into America. While others may argue that a wall could cut off illegal immigration into the United States for good. It is in the opinion of the writer that the wall would be a golden idea, but maybe not how President Trump is imagining it.

He believes that the wall would not be built in water where the border between the two countries connect, and he believes that if we do build a border wall, illegal immigration will just find new routes into the United States. Although the wall Trump may have been dreaming of may be a waste of money, a smaller but effective wall with more border Patrol agents would not crush our economy as Ruben believes it would if we built Trump's wall. If anything it would help it. It has been proven throughout history that border walls are effective to a fault, most border walls are successful in their job. From the Great Wall of China to the modern day border wall of Israel it can be proven that border walls can function if done properly. For the water again Trump's wall may not work, but we have built such things as bridges in water, so why couldn't we build walls? The wall could prevent illegal immigration almost certainly, and if those who wish to come would have to take very extreme routes, and most people would much rather attempt to enter America legally before taking such routes. Which is the end goal, for people to stop attempting to enter our country illegally, and for them to come and be functioning members of
