The exciting city of Hollywood, Florida (FL) (the "other" Hollywood) represents one of the largest master-planned communities in the state. The city has plenty of amenities to make it one of the most enjoyable cities in Broward County. It also sits in the heart of the second highest drug crime area in the state, which exposes residents to the trials and tribulations that come from issues related to substance abuse.

Drug Crime Stats for Broward County and South Florida
For better or for worse, most of the major cities in Broward County have made significant contributions to the county's standing as a high drug crime area. In 2013, the Pew Research Center diagrammed the drug crime activity throughout the state. Visually, it is quite apparent that the combination of Broward and Miami-Dade counties form the highest drug crime area in the state with responsibility for as much as 32% of the reported drug related crimes. This is a difficult number to ignore, especially if current trends continue.
