Many Burmese python have come from Southeast Asia to Florida and live in the Everglades yet their infamous to Florida. the presence of the Burmese python has change the Everglades, they have afflicted many of us. Many local animals are disappearing, many people are releasing their pets, the Burmese python, into the wilderness of the Everglades.They have also been changing our ecosystems. The pythons have been causing a lot of abnormality to the Everglades.
First of all, local animals of Florida are being driven away because the Burmese python are killing and eating them. this made decrease the population of the animals living in the Everglades. It may also cause many disturbances to the several different species …show more content…
They may even get shot during the process or bit while going after a different snake that looks like a python.Many people Aspire of finding the biggest snake or the most snakes to receive an extravagant prize. it's day in Source 2 that, “... the challenge is to hunt and kill Burmese pythons, with a grand prize of $1,500 awarded to the hunter who kills the most pythons, and another $1,000 to the hunter who bags the largest one.” the people who participate are annihilating the population of the Burmese pie soon the Burmese python won't be visible in the Everglades. this will be a good thing since the Burmese python are wiping out most of the population of other animals in the Everglades.
In addition, the ecosystems are being damaged through the Burmese python. Many people are flabbergasted and dumbfounded by the changes. This is harming the local ecosystems that are in the backyards of Florida. The author states in ‘Source 2’ that, “ The growing population of Burmese python - Mini Pets turn Loose by their owners when they become too big - is threatening the ecosystems of Florida's Everglades.” there will be a huge problem in the future.
