My father, is someone I cannot express in words. He raised me to be fearless and to confront my battles head on. He holds many great strengths within his personality. One such strength is his charm. My father left my mother to go be with another woman. I still spend many nights crying myself to sleep knowing that I could not get him to stay. Though I do know in my heart I was not the main reason he left, it still stings to know he decided to be unfaithful to my mother. However the memories I share with my father are some of the best in my life. From helping me skin my first deer, to teaching me how to string up fish, to even working on his trucks to make sure they are operating correctly. Either do it right or go home. Pearl High School is not known for losing, and especially the drill team. He wants us to be the best; for that I can understand and respect his ways, but I believe over the course of seventeen years and not having the same kids you started training with it does kind of wear on the person. So it gets hard maintaining a straight sense of thought, but it takes a toll on the students as well to be yelled at every day for something they just cannot do yet. However, because he does get on to us time and time again, we have had some of the greatest drill meets and field trips ever taken. Now I hate to say it but we have not scored first place as many times as we have wished, but it is okay because the comradery that the team manifested is something to be adored. Under the watchful eye of Master Chief, he has made the Drill team, not just a team, but a family of whom we get to see every day and love with the same intensity of our home. Especially when most of the students cannot receive that kind of love and understanding at their house. The students play the parts of the brothers and sisters, and Master Chief plays the role of strict and hilarious father, always making sure his babies are taken care
