Essay for career path As a 19 year old young adult, my thoughts on my desired career path at this time of my life are not as clear to me as far as already knowing exactly what I want to do with my life. But I understand that being at the age that I am in right now, most young adults are in the same shoes as I am in. I have played sports for a large majority of my life at various levels, and my number one career path would be to hopefully make it the the professional level of basketball. To my understanding, the percentage of individuals that make it to the professional level for any sport is very low. Although, that does not stop me from putting in as much effort as I can to ensure myself to hopefully get to my desired career path. We all know that reality hits us sometimes in the face in which we are forced to act upon certain dilemmas we face in life. If in that case, I ultimately do not make it to the NBA or overseas, I plan on becoming a product development manager for Nike Corporation. After doing some research, I was able to find that the salary range for this particular profession ranges from a whooping $60k-$151k and perhaps even more depending on which the company the individual works for.
As far as experience wise, additional training or background in the business aspect specifically merchandising or business economy would be helpful in broadening my knowledge and helping me stand out in a highly educated fashion. With product development, you do not necessarily have to just focus on the business aspect. You can also focus more on the engineering aspect and perhaps minor in the business aspect as what some people tend to do, instead of just primarily focusing on the business approach. For example, some coursework that I can take in the engineering direction would be principles of macro and microeconomics, industrial blueprint reading in order to properly learn how to read and construct a
