Organizational history of your capstone issue: The capstone issue has limited organization history amongst the two outpatient clinics of the medical specialty divisions of Allergy and Nephrology/Hypertension. The organization has the resources to gather the data of appointment non-compliance rates for three years plus. However, the organization has not made an initiative to develop a predictive scheduling model or pilot program within the two outpatient clinics of the medical specialty to address the root cause(s) of appointment noncompliance. This is why no show and same day cancellation rates within the Department of Medicine outpatient clinics of medical specialty have been identified and defined as an expelling organizational challenge by the Department Administrator, Mr. Kevin Borgan.
