Self-Analysis on Mid-Term Recording
This assignment was such a great learning experience for me. I was able to see what strengths and skills I currently have and which skills I need to improve on and need to develop. For our situation my group and I chose a scenario of a single parent with two children who is struggling with extreme stress and anxiety. The single parent is enrolled in college as a junior and has just started the major classes in their degree program. They have lost their financial aid due to lower grades and been in school for five years. The single parent has an extremely small support system. The parent is not on the best terms with their parents due to the fact that their parents didn’t approve of having a child out

I’ve recently learned that social work is a professional activity that promotes many values and ethics. This being said, I did my best to conduct my interview in a professional manner. I felt that the group was very well balanced. We each brought something unique to the project. My partners and I worked extremely well together, we each were responsible and took the project seriously. We also were able to have a lot of fun and ended up with many blooper takes. I would say I took the roles of facilitator, care giver, and observer. I provided my laptop and we used it to record our videos. I also took care of reserving the rooms we used to record the videos. I also tried my best to provide my partners with advice to help with their videos. Overall I feel that we each took the role that was needed in the moment. We each had unique approaches and supported each other throughout our takes. I really enjoyed collaborating with my group. It’s great to work with others who are as equally passionate about the profession as you
