Charlie Gordon was more social before he took the test. He spoke to everyone even the people who were making fun of him. In the beginning he talked to everyone and wasn’t aware that they were making fun of him when he was at many places, even when he was at work. He thought he had lots of friends as well because he thought they laughed with him. A quote that proves he was talkative is on page 114, it reads, “...He said pepul see things in the ink.
