The Constitution was documented that laid out America’s new system of government and how it should be conducted. Moreover, the Constitution lays out the checks and balances that the government must follow. Checks and balances are put in place so that never one group or man has more power than other. Hence, the Constitution is created to provide safety for the people and to help conduct our government in a proper way. Furthermore, The Declaration of Independence helps bring about the Constitution because the declaration changes the tide and lets not only Britain but the rest of world that America is its own sovereign nation. Through the Declaration of Independence and the colonist fighting for their Independence, the Constitution is made immediately after the Declaration of Independence. The Constitution is what makes the Declaration of Independence a turning point because of it set-ups the colonist new system of government.
