We were finally given the chance to start a new, revamped Sutton High School Cheerleading Team. My sophomore year was the first year we were able to start performing on the Boys and Girls Basketball Team. In the beginning, it was only six of us all in tenth grade. The more we practiced, the better we got. The next year, registration was open to middle school and got double the number of girls for the football season. In both years, I was voted Captain along with the team award for Best Sportsmanship. Though this year I took time off to focus on college applications and school work, I plan to continue cheerleading in college Aside from cheerleading, I have dedicated my time to doing volunteer work. Where I dedicate most of my time to is my church. I was able to play summer volleyball for “Our Lady of Mount Carmel”. After being given this opportunity, I was offered to volunteer at our church’s summer camp. Here, I was able to learn patience and compassion. I enjoyed this experience so much because I was able to share my time and teach the kids. My passion in life is being able to help the sick and
