1. Cheese is a metaphor that characterizes an individual’s desires, passions, and aspirations in life. It refers to the things that people often rely on to make them happy. For example, a career, a good relationship, money, spiritual peace, etc. The narrative points out the significance of people’s catalyst to maintain this happiness.
2. The maze is a metaphor that refers to life opportunities, trajectories, beliefs etc. It is the place you look for the things that make you happy.
3. The central theme of the parable is that nothing in life is guaranteed. Situations and circumstances are always changing whether you are prepared or not. Changes are an enormous part of life therefore it is pertinent to recognize it as it presents itself.
