Regardless of color and abilities, no human being should ever be prejudice to one another if that person has not committed a crime. The Chinese exclusion act is just another page from the book of America's racist history toward another ethnicity. From 1848 to the events that led up to the Chinese exclusion act of 1882, it was destined that white people hate and malicious intent toward another race would lead to this. From the gold mine that initiated the animosity in1848, to the economic downturn of 1873, and the exclusion act of 1882. White people’s jealousy is displayed through violent events, prejudice, and judgmental letters, and comics that show the pain and bullying the Chinese people in the western part of America were going through.
