When applying to California Baptist University I was presented with several questions on how a applicant can integrate their faith and their experiences into their time as a faculty member. These three questions consisted of how does your Christian experience relate to your philosophy of higher education? What influence do you think a teacher should have upon his or her students? How do you propose to integrate the Christian faith with the teaching of your particular subject area?" these questions all hold some significance in my life.

Although I am still a student this question still pertains to me How do you propose to integrate the Christian faith with the teaching of your particular subject area?" because I plan on becoming a sociology professor when I finish graduate school. It is rather easy to in the field of sociology to make connections with how man is broken in the world. I also believe their needs to be an approach while teaching where a professor does not seem like they are condemning their students. Striving for higher education comes from ones pursuit of truth. Whether someone is studying GODs creation such as biology where every aspect living organisms has GODs fingerprints on it or the connection of human societies like with sociology. Everyone looks to education for finding truth in the world but how I can relate my Christian experiences with my teaching philosophies when teaching or researching sociology is that I can grasp an understanding for social issue and the people involved because I may have been in their situation at a point in my life no one is perfect but learning form our mistakes and teaching others to avoid mistakes is essential for educating
