It was thursday december 15th, 1952, when the businesses in brooklyn were shutting down because of high taxes. As the political press was arguing about the city’s land and how it was infested with rats, bums and crazy lunatics, they don’t know who or what caused it. I’m Paulie Scaletta, and I’m working on a case about this exact problem. For years, the governor of New York made excuses and told us that he’ll be working on new jobs for the people. He said this 3 years ago and the population of brooklyn’s poor people grew, “what a load of crap” I said when I read the paper. You do not know which door is which. You are able to ask only one question to determine which door is which. The door that leads to the City of Liars always speaks lies, while the door that leads to the City of Truth always speaks the truth. You want to go to the City of Truth. I asked where he was going, “oh it doesn’t matter.” I asked him again aggressively, he gave me a sinister stare. Then I told him to take off his fedora, he slowly moved his arms to his hat. Without hesitation, he quickly took my hand and dropped me to the ground. He ran to the morgue, I chased him through the door. He vanished, now it was more of a game of hide and seek. “I’m surprised you found my clue, I thought nobody would be capable of solving my tenth masterpiece.” I was confused, we only found 4 bodies. “what do you mean tenth?” I said nervously, he started laughing maniacally. “You guys never found the other 6? I thought you guys were the best of the best, especially you. I have been looking at your work, remember when you took down the biggest drug dealer in Brooklyn, Falcone? I thought of you as a…… Player for my game.” I heard him going up the staircase to the top floor. This building was 10 stories high, he was on the roof, next to edge. I
