My group agreed from the beginning of the project that we would work at Koreshan state park. Another group member had performed a concert there recently, so he proposed that we put on a concert to raise money and awareness for the park. As the project evolved, the specific skills I have acquired in my subject area were less useful. I was able to use the skills in academic writing I acquired from scholarly writing in the music field to effectively edit and organize our group papers and projects.

Manny handled the majority of the communication. He made first contact with the park officials set up the majority of the times we went into work. Alex also helped to set up times, but he mostly went to work at the park by himself due to time conflicts. Teshey and Solide worked mostly on the smaller more visible plants which required a lot of time down on the ground. Manny and myself worked on the larger plants which required more physical exertion.
