They both deserve to be praised for transforming nursing into an honorable vocation. Clara Barton was the founder/President of the well-known American Red Cross. Florence Nightingale was known as the “Lady with the Lamp” by reducing a British bas hospital by two-thirds. I personally loved to educate myself on the famous female figures in the field that I wish to pursue one day. I could only dream of becoming the women that they are one day. I am not able to pick my favorite female figure because they are equally inspiring to me. If you are considering going into the medical field or are considering being a nurse then those two should definitely be your role
