They have a checklist of items they need to buy and then they are finished; no time for dilly-dallying. For say, if the customer is in desperate need of an evening dress for an event occurring in a couple of weeks, they won't stop and look at the nice t-shirt they spot in the corner of their eye. Then there is a the extreme couponer. This is the person at checkout holding up the long line of impatient customers trailing behind them while they scrummage through their pockets and/or purse in attempt to find an applying coupon out of the countless they have. The only purchase they will make is if the item has a coupon or discount of some sort. They cut out all the coupons they can possibly get out of what most would consider “junk mail”, whether they are certain it is useful to them or not. This type of shopper refuses to buy something for the original price. They will persistently try to talk the salesman into lowering the price to the absolute cheapest amount.
