Introduction
This assignment outlines 8 textbook articles that focus on personal areas of weakness and interest. A specific focus is placed on the value I derive from each article, as well as areas in my learning where I can apply the lessons and meaning from these articles.

It highlights procrastination as an inhibitor to motivation, and proposes that it is simply a habit and can thus change with practice. Various methods to fight procrastination are outlined: promising to complete a task, and scheduling a specific time when something is put off for ‘later.’ I picked this article because I agree that procrastination is the #1 enemy to performing well in school. Luckily, this article outlines various tips and strategies for effective learning even in situations where it can be difficult to understand the instructor. The article outlines various strategies, including allocating time to prepare for class, focusing on key points, and comparing notes with friends. However, the most impactful and revealing for me include attending the lecture twice, using a digital recorder, and leaving open spaces within my notes. This article made me aware of the fact that I can attend lectures of other sections, and that digitally recording lectures was permissible if approved by my instructor. These methods will help me with more comprehensive note taking in future situations where my instructor is
