1. Extensive relevant post registration nursing experience and relevant post graduate qualifications in management (or willingness to commence within 12 months of appointment)
I am currently undertaking courses in Leadership and Management in Practice as a component of a Masters of Mental Health. In the past I have also completed study in Managing Health Services within my Bachelor of Clinical Practice with a focus on clinical governance and service structure. I have relevant post registration nursing experience in the assessment and evaluation of the standards of clinical service, performance management, service accreditation and Work Health and Safety audits. In my practice I have also demonstrated my ability to communicate effectively, I have highly developed and effective interpersonal skill and excellent verbal communication techniques which is demonstrated by my ability to coordinated, developed, presented and evaluated a range of education sessions on various topics specified from discussions with members of the nursing cohort. This requires a superior ability to motivate and support clinical staff.
