After failing to proceed to DECA provincials in my first year, I returned in my grade 10 year where I received the recognition as a regional written event finalist in the marketing management category. While continuing my passion in business, I was selected by my grade 11 accounting teacher to take part in the 2016 COIN competition organized by Chartered Professional Accountants, where I ranked 33 out of 312 grade 11 students across all of Ontario. However, my passions do not merely exist within the business field. As a figure skater, I have been awarded multiple medals within the Central Ontario region. After dedicating ten years to competitive figure skating, I was presented the rewarding opportunity to become a program assistant at Markham Skating Club. As a program assistant, I was responsible for assisting a Skate Canada coach with delivering the skate program on-ice for young skaters. While I held this vital position, the significant duties of leading circuits, drills, and group activities fell onto me to perform.
