The first mural I visited was at the community college in Santa Ana. The community college is located off the freeway in Santa Ana in a highly Hispanic populated community. Though the campus is relatively smaller in size, it has over 20,000 students that attend. This mural is one of the of three murals located at the college. I viewed the MECHA Mural located in the Nealy library, the mural was on a wood panel that wrapped around the room. In this mural there is quite a lot going on throughout the mural with many different displays. The mural expresses monumental moments that occurred throughout the Mexican history as well as cultural images that are associated with the Chicano culture. The images on the mural shows the hardships and reality faced throughout history. The mural expresses the majority culture of the city of Santa Ana, it is a reflection of those who live in the community surrounding the college. The
