The concert I went to was a guest artist recital. Stephen James played the trumpet and Gretchen Renshaw played the tuba with Henry Jonas playing the piano. The theme for this concert was night songs. The first performed was called Parallels. This piece was a jazz harmony. The first movement called Allegro was very fast and sounded very beautiful and fun. The trills she played on the tuba were very good. The second movement was called Andante, rubato and it was much slower than the first. The third movement was called Vivo, very rhythmical.
